DSHobro 0.4 has released

DSHobro is a homebrew that lets you surf the web on your DS. It is based on a PC application that parses web pages, and sends the result to the DS. Version 0.1 alpha was released long ago, in april 07, but was just a tiny demo of the possibilities offered by the PC/DS mechanism. DSHobro 0.4 now takes full advantage of this mechanism and allows you to really surf the web, actually read text and view images (text is clear enough to be read) and so on.

The changes in DSHobro 0.4 are:

* Multi-line text support. To insert a line break, just type /n in DSHobro.
* Upgraded DSWifi library to the latest version: connecting to Wifi AP now works a lot better. Transfer rates apparently haven't improved though.
* Manual configuration is now possible. You may enter your IP & port manually -- for those who had problems with the automatic configuration.
* Improved graphics slightly and corrected a few bugs.

PS3 hacker releases exploit online

Give any good geek a gadget to play with and the chances are they’ll try to break it, hack it, modify it, and somehow make it better or more useful or just more interesting. Some of course are more successful at it than others.

Take George Hotz as an example, he was the guy who managed to hack the iPhone and is the only person in the world who has managed to successfully hack the PS3 gaming console and it took him just five weeks to do it.

Now although Hotz claims he doesn’t condone piracy, he has now decided to make his “exploit” in the PlayStation 3 available to the public and has published the information on his website. Why would he do that?

Well simple really, he basically got bored working on it day and night and wants to get back to his regular life and would like the rest of the world to pick up where he left off and figure out what to do with it.

“In the interest of openness, I’ve decided to release the exploit. Hopefully, this will ignite the PS3 scene, and you will organize and figure out how to use this to do practical things, like the iPhone when jailbreaks were first released” he says on his blog.

“I have a life to get back to and can’t keep working on this all day and night” he adds.

Hotz also asks that if you do have a go, you report what you find to psDevWiki.

“They have been a great resource so far” says Hotz.

“With the power this exploit gives, opens tons of new stuff to document”.

What exactly?

Well Hotz mentions a few things he would like to see.

“Missing HV calls filled in, nice memory maps, the boot chain better documented, and progress on a 3D GPU driver. And of course, the search for a software exploit.”

For real geeks and techies he gives the link for download and says “This is the coveted PS3 exploit, gives full memory space access and therefore ring 0 access from OtherOS. Enjoy your hypervisor dumps. This is known to work with version 2.4.2 only, but I imagine it works on all current versions.”

Then for those who are a little less technically minded, he offers a link to an article on what it’s all about.

I’m just wondering what Sony is going to do about it.

Nintendo DS firecard in the market

There are different types of nintendo ds firecards in the market Due to the advance in invention, technology has gifted mankind several new things to make life easier.

R4sdhc

There are plenty of similarities between the two different versions except that it is able to accept Micro-SDHC cards. At the same time, it can also take up to 32GB of memory.

Ez Flash

The ez flash is perfectly suitable for a Nintendo DSi. Though there are several Nintendo cards available in the market, still the ez flash is considered to be the best option. It is very reliable and creates very few problems with new games. At present, the software written for it is simply the best. It can work on all DS platforms and does not require any different kind of software. So the users who have a DSi or are in a plan to upgrade the version in future can think of the ez flash. Moreover, its memory capacity is also quite high.

R4i Sdhc

R4 sdhc was the first compatible DSi card for the brand of R4 sdhc. It promises to be very reliable as well as good. At the same time, it is also quite a cheap option to consider.

Acekard 2i

This card is widely considered to be one of the best DSi cards on the market. It offers many unique features and comes with dual memory capability.

Brief of M3i Zero for DSi v1.4

What is special about the M3i Zero is that it comes with a USB adapter cable to hook up to your computer directly. While you will still use the included stylish Micro SD reader to add files onto the micro SD, the USB connection cable allows the M3i's hardware to be completely updated by new kernel firmware from the M3i team. This insures future compatibility with any update Nintendo might release.

Along with that crucial firmware flashing ability the M3i Zero also features its own custom GUI interface with built in media player. It's really easy to use and doesn't rely on separate Moonshell homebrew like you would be forced to use with other cards like the DSTT and R4i SDHC. Faster loading, tighter integration, and the support of the best team in the business; things you won't find with lesser R4i SDHC cards. Even if you're still plodding along with a DS Lite and a DSTT ds flash card, the M3i Zero is fully backwards compatible with older DS systems.

Simple Way to Configure M3i Zero

Many people reflected that M3i Zero can not work on dsi well.Configure M3i Zero as follows may be available:

1. Download M3i Zero newest kernel.
2. Unzip it, and drag that 1 file (F_CORE.DAT, its the upgrade file), and one folder (SYSTEM, its the software the M3 real needs to run on) onto your micro sd card. Make sure the file and folder at in the “ROOT” of the micro sd card!
3. Put micro sd card into the M3i Zero.
4. Put the upgrade cable into the M3i (the shinny side, i.e. the side with the ARROW on it should be facing the BACK of the M3i!)
5. Plug the USB port into your PC, or anything that has a port that will give it power.
6. The M3i should blink for about 15~20 seconds. After it stops blinking, your M3i is enabled.
7. Unplug the upgrade cable from your PC and M3, and then put your M3i zero into your DS/DSi, and it should be working.
8. You can now delete the file F_CORE.DAT from the micro sd card as it will no longer be needed (its only needed to flash your m3i once)

Professional Mini DV At Gamezway

The AEE Mini DV MD80 is one of the smallest self contained camera/camcorder. The unit is just 2 inches tall, 3/4 inch wide and around 50 grams weight.

The Mini DV has two switches on the sides, one for turning on and off the sound activation and the second to turn on and off the power. The switches also control other modes such as when both switches are on and the Mini-DV is attached to a computer, the unit acts as a webcam. If only the power switch is on when connected to a computer, the unit acts as attached storage so you can copy video to the computer from the microSD card.
